Divers Save Shark - Rescue

Divers acted quickly when a grey nurse shark swam by with a metal collar attached to it. The grey nurse is endangered in Australian waters with a tenuous population hovering around 2000 individual sharks.

Sport fishing and habitat destruction has left these animals with few chances for survival.

Last year another shark was discovered with a gaff jammed in its throat and was successfully caught, saved and released.

Kudos to divers helping sharks.

Full story.
